Dr. Nilma Bonelli

Nilma specialises in Compliance, Operations and Information Security, with expertise in AI Privacy and Information Security. Nilma has been instrumental in establishing the compliance and information security functions and leading teams within multiple sectors. She has recently helped an AI company become the most certified biometrics company globally, achieving numerous standards including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, IRAP, eIDAS, eID, SOC-2, and Digital Identity and Attributes Trust framework certification.

Nilma has had comprehensive oversight of compliance, cyber security, information security, quality management, and risk management. She has vast experience in implementing company-wide processes to meet AI privacy and security requirements, conducting internal audits, and managing risk frameworks. Nilma has strategic focus that drives secure and compliant innovation that gains both customer trust and market confidence.

Educationally, Nilma holds a post graduate degree in Digital and Technology (Cybersecurity), a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, an MA in Language and Cultural Diversity and a degree in English Language and Linguistics. She has completed both CISA and CISM training.

Nilma is a certified internal auditor with extensive training in ISO standards and cybersecurity. Her diverse experience and educational background position her as a leading expert in compliance and information security, driving innovation and ensuring robust security frameworks in the organizations she serves.
